In Guyuan Booster Station, major noise sources are compressors, air coolers and pipelines, water coolers of motors, lubricating oil air-coolers, air compressors, etc. Among them, compressors and air compressors are located in noise reduction rooms, while other equipment is arranged outdoors. The noise generated during the operation of the equipment is relatively high, so that the environmental noise is overproof at the boundary of the gas transmission station and surrounding sensitive points. Therefore, a closed sound barrier has been built around the air compressor and the boundary noise barriers constructed in the boundary area for noise control.
